I am speechless! It’s such an honor to know that my writing is making the world a better place. My family and friends know how passionate I am about educating children. I’ve been a volunteer at Park Lakes Elementary for the past four years, helping kids in Mrs. Zotti’s class; it truly is where my heart lies. Now, here are my nominees – two people who also share my passion for inspiring students and adults. Congratulations, Michael and Laura.
I give this award to a very special person – my brother Michael Luongo, who uses his talent to make the world (literally) a better place through laughter. Please click on the link for more information about Stand-Up For Kids, “a unique and hilarious interactive assembly show that teaches elementary school children about life skills, character, loving life, humor and being a “STAR” Student through the art of Stand-Up comedy.”
Stand-Up For Kids is coming to South Florida school districts for an April/May 2012 tour! If you work in a South Florida elementary school, then now is the time to schedule a date for your school.
