2016’s BIG Moments!

Happy New Year! Here are my BIG moments for 2016:

I got a response from The White House!

I got a verified Facebook page (the blue check mark)!

I got my content removed from 20+ sites on the Internet!

I sold copies of my poetry book.

I advocated for cerebral palsy awareness through my blog and published articles.

My blog got 5,400+ views from 3,437+ visitors.

I shared my SDR (selective dorsal rhizotomy) surgery story, and by doing so, more adults and children went on to get new legs.

I did my first radio interview about Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month 2016, SDR and more with Edwina Wilson.

My SDR Article for The Huffington Post was republished on The Good Men Project.

My SDR Article for The Huffington Post was republished on LyfeBulb.

The Mighty republished this blog post and this blog post two days apart!

I created new FB and Twitter pages and a YouTube Channel for #whatCPLooksLike.

CerebralPalsy.org wrote a feature story about me – One Woman’s Cerebral Palsy Story Should Encourage Sharing Your Own

I was interviewed by Special Books by Special Kids.

Carson Daly tweeted me back! Now, if only he’d send Jennifer Aniston the article I wrote about her for HuffPost (inspired by his interview). 🙂

World CP Day selected me to be a member of the 2016-2017 World CP Day Committee.

World CP Day made two different FB postcards (see both in this blog post) quoting me and they were very successful.
